Rings of Plum Power

I am apparently on a purple(ish) polish kick.  I intended to grab a more berry colored polish but instead picked up this one thinking it was something else.  Oh well.  I still like the over all manicure.

I started by applying my base coat (Sally Hansen Hard as Nails).  Then I applied two coats of Sally Hansen Plum Power. Then, I swiped on CND Amethyst Sparkle.  for the design I used Pure Ice Silver Mercedes and more Plum Power.  I used different sized dotting tools to create the rings on top of one another.  Finally, I sealed everything in with a coat of Out The Door.

Somehow I managed to get a couple dents in my polish without realizing it.  I didn't even see them until I stepped into the sunlight to take photos.  That frustrates me a bit but I wasn't about to remove the polish and do it again.  I'm incredibly lucky to get any color on my nails at this point.

I'm thinking it might be time to start busting out some holiday manicures.  I've been in the Christmas spirit for about a month now!  HAHAHAHA!

  2. This idea is so simple and easy to make, I should try it. I love how you can get a totally different effect depending on what color combo you choose :)
