aEngland Polish Promo Haul!

::Dancing with happiness!::  I have been waiting for, what feels like, an eternity for these beauties to arrive to me.  It was no fault of Adina.  Royal Mail is no longer shipping internationally (or perhaps polish AT ALL, I'm not entirely certain), so that posed a huge problem for me, and so many others. However, Leah Ann from Llarowe offered to help get the packages out to the USA customers.  It did take a little over a month from the time I placed my order to the point of arrival, but it was worth the wait.  And, usually there is no where near that kind of wait time.  Again, it was purely because of a change in the mail carrier's policies.  These policies weren't made known until after so many people had already ordered their polishes. :-(

Anywho, I ordered 4 polishes from the promo she was holding.  I could have went crazy and got more, but my wallet wouldn't have been happy with me (and probably not the husband, either, lol!).
The first one I selected is Dragon.  Oh my goodness, how stunning is it?!  I am fairly certain I drooled on the bottles as I was pulling them from their bubble wrap. Dragon is a perfect name for this holographic green.

The second stunner is Saint George.  This is a teal holographic that is begging me to wear it.  I'm a sucker for a good teal, but add that it is a holographic, shimmery teal... and I'm sold!

This next one, while stunning, had me on the fence. The only reason being, that I wasn't certain how much I'd actually wear it.  Seeing it in person, I'm thrilled I went ahead and ordered it. It's a winner!  It is called Princess Sabra (or Tristam Eyes, as it is the color of her cute cat's eyes--who is named Tristam).

Last, but not least, is Holy Grail (new edition). This is a perfect aged gold/bronze. I wasn't entirely fond of the original Holy Grail because it was very yellow.  It was pretty...but not something I could really see myself wearing.  This new version is more up my alley.

I am so excited to get to wearing these gems on my nails.  It will probably have to wait a couple of weeks, though.  I've had to go bare-nailed quite a bit recently.  All my posts are pre-scheduled to go up.  I'm doing a lot with my hands, which has completely broken nearly all of my nails, and when I do have polish on, it chips severely.  So, I have decided to go bare-nailed until I can actually go back to tending to my manicures.  I may have to go ahead and apply these to my stumps, though, because I'm not certain I'll be able to wait for them to grow back out.  They're just too darned beautiful.  Adina manages to make me lust after all of her polishes she creates.

  2. Whenever there's a A-england promo you're always there to order something LOL. I like the look of Saint george, saw a swatch earlier on someones blog and it looks stunning.

    1. LOL, it certainly seems that way doesn't it? I adore her polishes, though. I'm madly in love with her colors, finishes, formulation, and the way she runs her business. She is very friendly and always willing to make things right for her customers. I have nothing but high praises for Adina and her polish.

  3. Yay! Glad you received your polishes. Sorry to hear your nails are not in good shape right now. I don't mind much when it's nails from the right hand but I'm extra cautious with my left hand nails cause those are my swatching fingers lol. Dragon is gorgeous! Looking forward to your swatches, especially Holy Grail.

    1. That's normally how I am, too. Overly careful not to damage the left hand. We're doing a lot of "around the house" stuff, though, so I knew going forward that my nails were going to be in for a beating. There was no way around it. It has been a bit strange going bare-nailed, though, because I'm so used to seeing color there! LOL!

  4. I'm glad you received your polishes! I ordered 6 from the same promo and I think they found out about Royal Mail shutting them down about 2 days after mine had shipped which was super lucky for me! I also got Tristam Eyes. My favorites I got are She Walks in Beauty and And the Moonbeams...They're so gorgeous! I, like others, am awaiting your swatches. :)
